The sea breezes cool the air in the garden, poolside and on the blue sea of Tuscany’s Argentario coast. Il Pelligrill is a traditional seaside restaurant located halfway between the beach and the hotel, where it’s convenient to stop for a quick noontime meal or to meet friends for a relaxing dinner. You never have to worry about being late at this restaurant, because a light meal is available any time. It’s the perfect place to stop off after a boat trip, and enjoy a lunch of Tuscan specialities.
Here, traditional dishes are prepared with local ingredients, and guests can discover our chefs’ latest creations. At noon, dishes can be chosen from the menu or from two options on the fixed-price menu dedicated to Patsy and Michael Graham. Evenings are like a celebration in a Tuscan town, with pappa al pomodoro, rib of beef with potatoes and vegetables, grilled baby chicken, the fish of the day and grilled vegetables, and local pecorino. Plus desserts, ice cream and fresh fruit.The Pelligrill reopens on april 17th 2014.
At Il Pelligrill, our restaurant with a view of the sea in Porto Ercole, our chefs grill meat and fish before our guests’ eyes every day, serving them up with fresh salads and cooked vegetables. There are plenty of dishes respecting the Mediterranean diet as well as delicious specialities like sautéed clams and mussels, burrata with dried tomatoes and rocket cream, aubergine parmigiana, flavourful risotto with clams and lemon, and traditional tagliolini with tomatoes and basil. There’s also fried squid and prawns, and spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood for those who like strong flavours, lobster salad with avocado, and salmon with extra-green lentils for gourmets and a selection of our pastry chef’s desserts for guests with a sweet tooth. The menu alone is mouth-watering, and it’s almost impossible to resist the daily temptations conjured up by our chef and his team.
